Wavy Gravy
by Ben & Jerry's
Retired in 2001 after eight years. A fan vote briefly resurrected it in scoop shops in the mid-2000s, but Wavy Gravy has been back in Ben & Jerry's Flavor Graveyard ever since โ no pints, no plans.
Caramel and cashew Brazil nut ice cream shot through with hazelnut fudge and roasted almonds, named for the tie-dyed Woodstock emcee who spent the rest of his life running a children's camp. After eight years the sales cooled, and Ben & Jerry's walked it out to the flavor graveyard behind the Vermont factory โ a real one, with real headstones.
๐งพ One more thingFans voted it out of the grave: Wavy Gravy won Ben & Jerry's 2005 Raise-a-Flavor contest by more than double the runner-up's votes, earning a scoop-shop-only resurrection that didn't last. Its headstone in Waterbury cheerfully clarifies that the man himself is not dead โ he lives in California.
