Gone. December 2024 comes from Post's consumer line rather than any announcement, and shelves had been thinning since late 2023, so the exact end is soft. No revival has surfaced.
Toasted wheat flakes studded with whole flaxseed, invented in Omaha in 1908 and sold for 116 years with barely a change to the recipe. It passed through four owners, and the last of them, Post, quietly let it go at the end of 2024.
π§Ύ One more thingEarly boxes pitched it as a cure for nearly every stomach complaint, which drew a federal misbranding case by 1911 and a reported $10 fine. The same Omaha company also made the first raisin bran, Skinner's, starting in 1926.
