Gone. PepsiCo posted in mid-2015 that it had removed Pepsi ONE from the marketplace, after Diet Pepsi switched to a similar sucralose and Ace-K blend. No month was ever announced, and no revival has followed; Pepsi Zero Sugar is a different brand.
A diet cola sold on a single number: one calorie per eight ounces, from a sweetener blend nobody else in America had yet. It ran 17 years, then left quietly once Diet Pepsi borrowed its tricks.
π§Ύ One more thingPepsi announced it within about an hour of the FDA approving the sweetener acesulfame potassium on July 1, 1998. Tom Green became its TV pitchman the next year, and in 2005 it was rebuilt around Splenda.
