Bite-sized Kiss-shaped candies in a crackly shell, launched in 2005 as Hershey’s answer to a bowl of M&M’s. Then a cost-cutting recipe swap quietly stripped away the one word that made them worth buying, and by 2009 they were gone.

🧾 One more thingIn 2007 Hershey replaced the cocoa butter with cheaper vegetable oil, which meant the FDA would no longer let the label say ‘milk chocolate’ — so it became ‘chocolate candy,’ fans tasted the difference, sales slid, and the product was essentially regulated out of its own identity.
