2003 – 2012 GONE FOREVER

Gone — Hershey's own community archives date the bar to 2003 and its end to November 2012. The s'mores-themed chocolate that turns up each summer is a different product; the filled bar with the graham inside has not returned.

Graham pieces and marshmallow creme sealed inside milk chocolate — a campfire dessert that survived a glovebox. It ran nine years, sold quietly, and was gone by the end of 2012 with no announcement at all.

🧾 One more thingHershey never explained the decision, and the mourning has outlived the bar by longer than the bar lasted. Meanwhile the company turned s'mores season itself into a business: the caramel bar it built the 2025 season around was, by Hershey's own account, its best-selling s'mores launch ever.
