Gone — Cröonchy Stars lasted only about a year after its 1988 debut, resurfaced briefly in 1992, and hasn't been seen on shelves since.
The Swedish Chef's very own breakfast cereal: cinnamon-dusted stars sold in 1988 with a box full of gleefully unsolvable puzzles and an umlaut-strewn name only he could pronounce. Post yanked it after about a year, then teased fans with one brief 1992 encore.
🧾 One more thingThe cereal was reportedly dreamed up by Jim Henson himself, and the Chef hawked it in ads as 'cinnamonnamony.' It has lived on as a Muppet in-joke ever since — an original box turned up as a prop in Disney+'s 2023 series The Muppets Mayhem.
