Gone. Launched in February 2024 and confirmed as discontinued on September 24, 2024 — about seven months, an unusually public failure for a drink the company had called permanent. Some listings date the end to July 2024, which is when it started vanishing from shelves rather than when Coca-Cola said so.
Coca-Cola's first new permanent flavor in more than three years turned up in February 2024 tasting mostly of raspberry, and spent its entire life explaining that it was not, despite the name, spicy. Seven months later it was being phased out.
🧾 One more thingThe flavor was picked off Freestyle machine data — raspberry had been tapped more than five million times in 2022 — and the company committed to it as a permanent line rather than a limited run. Asked why it was going, Coca-Cola would say only that it keeps adjusting its range to what customers like, and promised a replacement for 2025; that turned out to be Orange Cream.
