Cole Slaw

by Chick-fil-A
1967 – 2016 GONE FOREVER

Gone from the national menu since January 18, 2016, and the company still says it has no plans to bring it back. One loophole survives: Dwarf House locations, the chain's original sit-down format, keep coleslaw on their expanded menu.

Sweet, finely chopped, served in a little cup, and on the menu for forty-nine years β€” as old as the chain itself. In January 2016 it was pushed aside to make room for a kale-and-broccolini side dish.

🧾 One more thingChick-fil-A softened the blow by publishing the recipe outright: vinegar, sugar, dry mustard, salt, mayonnaise, shredded cabbage and carrot, chilled two hours before serving. The replacement, called the Superfood Side, came from Atlanta chef Ford Fry.
