Yes — Super Bubble was discontinued in 2024 after 78 years on shelves, and it has not come back.

The chunky, jaw-defeating bubble gum that taught a generation how to blow a proper bubble, going strong since 1946. It didn’t lose a popularity contest so much as get caught in a mass extinction: Ferrara walked away from the entire chewing-gum business and took Super Bubble down with it.

🧾 One more thingSuper Bubble was collateral damage of a nation quietly quitting gum — U.S. gum sales had cratered by roughly a third since 2018 — so Ferrara dropped it and Fruit Stripe on the same day and now makes no chewing gum at all.
