The Simpsons Cereals

by Kellogg's
2001 โ€“ 2002 GONE FOREVER

Gone. These were limited editions with no announced end, so the 2002 date rests on a box marked best by August 2002 and accounts of a run under a year. KrustyO's, sold in 2007, came from 7-Eleven, not Kellogg's.

Homer's Cinnamon Donut Cereal and Bart Simpson Peanut Butter Chocolate Crunch, about $2.49 a box. Kellogg's called them a limited edition, then let the boxes run out.

๐Ÿงพ One more thingBart's flavor was a nod to his years of Butterfinger ads, E! reported. In 2012 a reviewer paid $19.04 on eBay for an 11-year-old box of Homer's and lived to write about it.

Why did Kellogg's stop making Simpsons cereal?

They were sold as limited editions. Kellogg's left the door open to keeping them if sales were strong, but no permanent version followed.

Were there other Simpsons cereals?

Yes. Bart-branded No ProblemO's and Eat My Shorts cereals appeared abroad, and KrustyO's came from 7-Eleven in 2007.
