2012 – 2019 GONE FOREVER

Gone — 2019 was the last selling season, and the replacement was announced in January 2020: Lemon-Ups, a glazed lemon cookie stamped with motivational messages, which is a different cookie rather than this one renamed. Some write-ups date the debut to 2011; the launch season was 2012.

A crescent of lemon shortbread buried in powdered sugar, baked to mark the Girl Scouts' hundredth birthday and named for the Georgia city where the whole thing started. Eight cookie seasons later it was quietly dropped from the order form.

🧾 One more thingThe wedge shape was the joke in the name — a smile for Savannah, Juliette Gordon Low's hometown. Fans took the loss badly enough to put thousands of signatures on a petition, while the Girl Scouts said only that flavor trends and sales decide which cookies stay.
