Rice Krispies Gluten Free

by Kellogg's
2011 โ€“ 2015 GONE FOREVER

Gone. Kellogg's said in spring 2015 that it had stopped production because of disappointing sales, and pointed shoppers toward its other gluten-free products. This entry covers the US box. Regular Rice Krispies still contain malt flavoring and are not gluten-free.

Kellogg's first-ever gluten-free cereal, and a rare mainstream box that celiac families could pour without reading the label twice. It still snapped, crackled and popped. It just didn't sell, and it was gone in four years.

๐Ÿงพ One more thingRegular Rice Krispies aren't gluten-free because of barley malt. Removing it wasn't enough, so Kellogg's switched to whole-grain brown rice, made the cereal in a separate facility, and tested every batch.
