Yes — Popsicle Sprinklers was discontinued in 2004 after 14 years on shelves, and it has not come back.

Vanilla ice cream dipped in chocolate and rolled in crunchy rainbow sprinkles — the ice cream truck’s answer to birthday cake, no plate required. It ruled the early ’90s through a run of hyperactive Popsicle commercials, then vanished from freezers around 2004 without so much as a goodbye.

🧾 One more thingThere was never an announcement and never a stated reason — one summer the truck simply stopped carrying them. Fan petitions have gathered signatures for years, but Popsicle has said it currently has no plans to bring the sprinkles back.
