Oreo Cakesters was discontinued in 2012 — but it’s back on shelves today.

An Oreo reimagined as a soft whoopie pie: creme filling between two fluffy chocolate snack cakes. Nabisco killed them in 2012 without explanation, and fans spent a decade writing letters about it.

🧾 One more thingThey returned for good in January 2022, celebrated with a takeover of the world's last Blockbuster in Bend, Oregon — free Cakesters in retro VHS-style packaging under the slogan 'It's 2007 all over again.'
