Limited. The original died in 2007 when Godiva terminated CoolBrands' license. A new line made by Boardwalk Frozen Treats arrived in March 2022 with seven flavors, but its 2026 shelf presence could not be confirmed, so check your local freezer before celebrating.
Super-premium pints that put the chocolatier's name in the supermarket freezer. Within six months it had about seven percent of its category, and it ended eight years later in a lawsuit.
🧾 One more thingDreyer's made it but was not allowed to keep it: the FTC's 2003 approval of Nestlé's Dreyer's takeover forced the sale of the Godiva line, along with Dreamery, to CoolBrands. CoolBrands defaulted on the license, and Godiva sued for $14 million in 2007.
