2008 – 2009 GONE FOREVER

Gone — Gatorade confirmed the end in December 2009, then ended the endorsement deal itself the following February. Nothing has carried his name in the cooler since.

Tiger Woods picked the three flavors himself and, instead of an endorsement fee, took a royalty on every bottle of it sold. The drink lasted about a year and a half.

🧾 One more thingBeverage Digest broke the discontinuation in an issue dated November 25, 2009, two days before Woods crashed his car outside his home. The scandal everyone remembers as the cause arrived after the decision had already been made.
