FruitWorks

by Pepsi
1997 – 2003 GONE FOREVER

Gone. No announcement dated the end; FruitWorks drops out of PepsiCo's US filings after 2004 and 2003 trade reports describe the shift to Tropicana, so the end year is approximate. Intro is the 1997 test market; the national rollout followed around 2000.

Pepsi's answer to Fruitopia: non-carbonated fruit drinks in 20-ounce bottles, priced under a dollar for teenagers at the convenience-store cooler. It went national around 2000 and had given way to Tropicana juice drinks within a few years.

🧾 One more thingIt was tested in Hawaii and Baltimore before going national, and Pepsi rolled it out with little advertising at first. It outlived its US run in the Caribbean, where a Pepsi bottler still listed it among its brands in 2006.
