Flintstones Push-Ups

by Nestlé
1990 – 1999 GONE FOREVER

The Flintstones-branded version is gone for good, but the identical sherbet tube lives on as a plain, character-free Push-Up still sold today — de-branded, not discontinued.

A cardboard tube of sherbet in flavors like Yabba Dabba Doo Orange and Bedrock Berry, sold with a vitamin C claim so parents could file dessert under ‘sort of like the chewable vitamins.’ By the end of the ’90s the Flintstones had been quietly evicted from the packaging, and the treat that Fred and Barney once fronted vanished with them.

🧾 One more thingIt was never really discontinued so much as de-branded: Nestlé peeled off the characters and the prehistoric flavor names and kept selling the exact same sherbet tube as a generic Push-Up, which is still on shelves today. You’ve probably eaten one and never realized you were holding a cartoon ghost.
