Gone in North America. It launched in Spain and Hungary in April 2019 and reached the US in January 2020. In May 2021, Coca-Cola said it would discontinue it in the US and Canada, less than 18 months after the US launch. Europe was not part of that decision.
Coke tasting like Coke, with guarana and extra caffeine, in a skinny can meant to take on Red Bull. It reached US shelves in January 2020, just in time for nobody to need a pick-me-up for the commute.
π§Ύ One more thingCoca-Cola owned a big stake in Monster, which argued the drink broke their non-compete deal. An arbitrator sided with Coke in June 2019. After all that, the drink took only 0.7% of US energy-drink sales in 2020, per Beverage Digest.
