Kellogg’s C-3PO’s
by Kellogg’s
Yes — Kellogg’s C-3PO’s was discontinued in 1986 after 2 years on shelves, and it has not come back.
‘A New Force at Breakfast’: honey-sweetened corn, wheat, and oat pieces shaped like a fused double-O, apparently meant to echo a certain golden droid’s eyes. Kellogg’s launched it in 1984 on the last wave of Star Wars mania and quietly retired it just two years later.
🧾 One more thingEvery box doubled as a low-key merch drop — sticker trading cards inside, and cut-out cardboard masks of Luke, Yoda, Vader, Chewbacca, and a Stormtrooper on the back. Anthony Daniels reprised C-3PO for the commercials, making it one of the rare cereals personally pitched by its own mascot, in character.
